Academic 09-10 will be quite different for me. I am only teaching a few classes while most of my efforts will be directed toward writing my dissertation. This is something I've been working on regularly. I have a self-imposed December deadline.
Summer came and went without a warning (aren't those lyrics from a horrible 80s song)? We had another nice summer with a few small vacations. Today, the girls started school--today was S's first day of kindergarten. I thought that because she'd been to school before, I wouldn't be as sad, but I still managed to cry.
On Friday, Sean walks in convocation. He is done with his PhD. Me next, insha' Allah. Here's a picture chronicle of our summer.
