Fall in Hyde Park is quite different than Fall in the suburbs, where there are ordinances that require one to cut down the trees in lawns if they exceed a certain height. The effect: a barren, totally cookie cutter type landscape! Here is Hyde Park, much of the land is pristine--the trees have been left to grow and many seem to graze the sky, a testament to all they've witnessed. I often stare at them from my bedroom window admiring their beauty; surely one that comes with age. The trees are changing colors right now and soon they will stand bare. I will add some pictures soon since this is probably one of the last weekends before the frost.
